Md. Emdadul Islam
Md. Emdadul Islam is an Assistant Professor and Director (Acting) of the Institute of Information Sciences at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka. His research interests include digital literacy, AI literacy, information literacy, digital humanities, human–AI interaction, data analytics, social network analytics, cloud computing, scholarly and scientific communication, and academic publishing. He is actively involved in international professional associations, including ASIS&T, IASL, and LAB. He currently serves as Chair-Elect of SIG EduLearn of the ASIS&T and is engaged in teaching, research, academic supervision, and professional activities in library and information science.
