Dr. Md Anisuzzaman

Dr. Md. Anisuzzaman is a Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. With over 14 years of experience in aquaculture and marine biology, he specializes in fish nutrition, live feed development, sea cucumber culture, and aquatic pollution. He earned both his PhD and Post-Doctoral credentials from Gyeongsang National University, Republic of Korea, and has published more than 40 scientific articles, a book, and holds a Korean patent. His research focuses on sustainable aquaculture, live feed culture, microplastics, and heavy metal contamination. He is actively engaged in international scientific communities including WAS, KOSFAS, and APA.

Biography

Dr. Md Anisuzzaman is a Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science at Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. He earned his PhD and Post-Doctoral degrees in Marine Biology and Aquaculture from Gyeongsang National University (GNU), Republic of Korea. His doctoral research focused on innovative approaches in aquaculture, particularly the development of artificial diet for sea cucumber culture. During his post-doctoral tenure, he further advanced his research in marine biology and aquaculture, contributing significantly to the field. With a career spanning over 14 years in academia and research, Dr. Anisuzzaman has established himself as a prominent expert in aquaculture, fish nutrition, marine biology, and environmental science, with significant contributions to understanding microplastics, heavy metal contamination, sea cucumber culture. He is an active member of the Korean Society of Fisheries and Aquatic Science (KOSFAS), the Asia Pacific Aquaculture Society, and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS), reflecting his global engagement and commitment to advancing aquaculture and marine science.

Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)

Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP)

National Institute for International Education (NIIED), Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea
Description: The 2014 KGSP was a scholarship program sponsored by the South Korean government to promote academic exchange and international friendship. It offered fully-funded opportunities for international students to pursue higher education in Korea at designated universities. The scholarship included a monthly stipend, airfare, language training, tuition fees, and medical insurance. The selection process was a multi-stage procedure conducted by the NIIED and Korean embassies. Applicants could apply through either an embassy track or a university track, but not both. Successful candidates were required to undergo one year of Korean language training before beginning their degree program, unless they already demonstrated a high level of Korean proficiency.
