Completed Research AssignmentsSuccessfully completed research projects in arsenic sensing and kinetics studies, chromium detection, nitrate reduction using membrane reactors, hydrogen peroxide detection, oxygen reduction, photocatalytic dye degradation, uric acid detection, pharmaceutical drug detection, density functional theory (DFT) studies, and water quality analysis. These projects involved electrochemical techniques, catalyst development, materials characterization, and theoretical investigations aimed at environmental remediation and sustainable energy applications. Conference and Seminar PresentationsResearch findings have been presented at several national and international conferences. Oral presentations include The Thiocyanate Gatekeeper: An In-Situ Adlayer on Gold for Direct and Enhanced Hydrogen Peroxide Electroreduction at the 10th Conference of the Bangladesh Crystallographic Association, BUET, held on 11–12 December 2025, and Theoretical Insights into Enhanced Electrocatalytic Arsenic Oxidation on Au-Decorated Pt Surfaces in Neutral Medium at the International Conference on Science and Humanities for Sustainable Development (ICSHSD-2025), Dhaka University of Science and Technology, on 23–24 October 2025. Poster presentations include Metal Films Immobilized on H+ Conducting Solid Polymer Electrolyte in Membrane Reactor for Attaining Efficient Nitrite Removal at NAME-2023, Electrochemical Approach to the Detection of Arsenic through the Immobilization of Poly(o-aminophenol) Film on Pt Surface at ICPS-2022, and Efficient Oxygen Evolution via Spontaneous Decomposition of H2O2 on Pt-Pd/Nafion Catalyst at the International Poster Presentation Competition (IPPC-2020) organized by the National Young Academy of Bangladesh in collaboration with INYAS, SLAYS, and TYSA. Overall, my research interests encompass electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, nanomaterials, electrochemical sensing, computational chemistry, and environmental analysis, with a particular focus on developing efficient catalytic and sensing platforms for sustainable energy conversion and environmental monitoring. |
