About Dr. Syadani Riyad Fatema (Riya)

Syadani Riyad Fatema (Riya) is studying towards her PhD at the University of New England, Australia. She started her teaching in the Department of Bangladesh and Liberation War Studies in December 2016 and then in Sociology 2018 respectively. She worked as the founder Chairperson (Acting) of the Department of Sociology in Noakhali Science and Technology University (Bangladesh) from September 2017 to May 2018. She has been involved in Research since 2011.

She has completed her BSS (Hons) and MSS in  Sociology from the University of Dhaka. She passed her HSC and SSC with GPA-5 (Humanities) from Cumilla Victoria Government College and Chauddagram Pilot Girls High School respectively.
