Inclusive Access to Educational Resources and Outreach Activities Policy

Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) is committed to ensuring equitable and inclusive access to all educational, training, and outreach activities organized by the university. This includes access to free educational resources, public lectures, vocational and executive programs, as well as community outreach initiatives.
NSTU’s activities under this policy include, but are not limited to:
  • Free educational resources and training programs offered through the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), such as the Digital Skills Training Program in collaboration with national agencies.
  • Public and community-oriented learning events, such as voluntary education programs (e.g. Luminary) for underprivileged children, organized by student groups.
  • Executive and vocational training programs (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology – PGDIT) are open to the general public.
  • Educational outreach programs by the Faculty of Education, where students engage in teaching and mentoring at local schools.

The university ensures that participation in these programs and access to these services are provided without any discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, disability, immigration status, or gender. NSTU promotes an open, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all community members, both on and beyond campus.
Enforcement and monitoring of this policy are overseen by the respective departments and institutes in coordination with the university administration to uphold NSTU’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity in education.
